New Zealand is fortunate to have many experienced healthcare providers with ACHD expertise. We have a national ACHD service and we work together as a team to give you the best care that we can.

Here is some information about the ACHD services that are available near you. Many hospitals have ACHD clinics with a local cardiologist and some also have occasional visiting clinics with a specialist from a bigger centre. If possible we will try to see you at your local hospital whenever we can, but for some procedures, like surgery or heart catheters, you may need to travel to a bigger hospital. Some tests, like MRI scans or some specialised echo scans, may also mean a trip to a bigger hospital. Talk to your local team if you need financial support to travel to an appointment further away.
