Patients with a Fontan circulation are at increased risk of thromboembolic events. This review discusses antithrombotic prophylaxis for pediatric and adult Fontan patients and proposes a decision-tree algorithm for thromboprophylaxis in Fontan patients.

One of the ongoing deficits in ACHD care is in the area of sexual health and well-being. Individuals with adult congenital heart disease may have significant barriers to achieving well-being in this aspect of their lives. These barriers and their potential solutions are outlined in this paper.
